FAQ’s

How are the kids divided?

Campers are grouped by their age.

What do kids do all day?

Each group follows its own schedule. Activity periods are 45 minutes long and may include activities such as arts & crafts, sports (soccer, basketball, hockey, wiffle ball, dodge ball, etc.), MagiQuest, Foam Frenzy, Lazer Runner, Bumper Cars, Free Fall, Electric Go-Karts and other Funplex attractions. After lunch, campers have free swim and elective periods. Elective activities change each week and are chosen by campers during lunch on Mondays. The elective and free swim periods are one hour and 15 minutes long.

Where do you recruit your counselors?

Most counselors were recommended by parents or other staff members, and most have returned to us year after year. All receive training in camp management, safety, and child interactions prior to the start of camp. Most of our senior counselors are college students with a minimum age of 18. Our junior counselors must be at least 16 years old.

Is swimming available?

Free swim is a part of each group’s schedule every day. We also offer swim lessons as an optional program.

Do you have lifeguards?

State law requires us to have 1 certified lifeguard for every 30 campers in the water — no exceptions! A staff of three lifeguards is on site every day from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

How much does camp cost?

Each camp week costs $349 for the first child plus a one-time $35 registration fee per child.  Each sibling is 10% off. Inquire about our early registration discounts.

Can I only pay for 3 days per week?

Camp fees are based upon a 5-day week only. Sorry, no exceptions.

What is your lunch policy?

Our lunch program, which includes a variety of nutritious menu options, is available for an additional fee of $35 per week. Most campers choose this option, though they may also bring their own lunch, which is stored indoors for them.

Does the camp utilize The Funplex facility with the public?

Funplex attraction activities are scheduled in the mornings before we are open to the public, so the campers have the complex and the attractions to themselves. There will be occasions when our campers are in the facility after noon. Staff members are posted at all exits and keep a close eye on campers at all times. In the event of rain, we make use of The Funplex attractions and have other indoor activities. During these times we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of your child.

How do I register?

All we require is a $349 deposit and $35 registration fee with a completed registration form for each child. You will receive a registration confirmation, and a calendar of special events in the mail, your deposit will be applied directly to your camp balance. All balances are due at least one week prior to your child's first day of camp.  A medical form is required and is easily downloadable from our website.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes!  Register & prepay for 3 weeks & get 1 week free. Register & prepay for 6 weeks & get 2 weeks free. You must pay in full by January 31, 2013.

When is the final payment due?
